In addition, poor mobile accessibility made it difficult for managers and staff to oversee operations on the go, further slowing down processes and creating frustration across the team.

AI automation was introduced to reduce time-consuming tasks, freeing up valuable time for higher-value work. The admin panel centralized all essential tools, tasks, and insights in one place, while real-time dashboards improved task completion speed by 40% and made monitoring progress easier. Role-based permissions clarified responsibilities across the team, and the mobile version enhanced flexibility, benefiting 96% of users and enabling seamless on-the-go management.
Managing complex workflows can be frustrating, so the goal was to create an admin panel that feels clear, intuitive, and empowering. Following the Double Diamond framework, the process started by understanding a product manager’s daily challenges, mapping her journey and pain points, and identifying opportunities to simplify tasks. Ideas were sketched, tested, and iterated until the panel became a design that makes navigation effortless and helps users work efficiently.

The biggest challenge was managing complex information without overwhelming users. The experience was simplified while preserving full functionality, focusing on clarity and supporting different workflows. Careful design decisions determined what to show and when, ensuring the platform remained intuitive and easy to navigate.
The final solution gave users full control and significantly improved overall efficiency. All users were able to complete tasks like order sorting, editing products, and updating roles with no external guidance, demonstrating that the flows were fully self-explanatory. Inline editing and smarter filters helped users work faster, especially in high-frequency flows like inventory updates and team assignments. Key metrics include a 40% faster task completion across critical flows and 96% of users reporting a smooth, intuitive, and easy experience.
